An increased focus on pet welfare has led to a rise in attention, engagement, interactions and expenditure on pet welfare services.We want to make it easy for pet owners to care for their pets, get advice from real professionals and easily book them in for services, while managing their data from a central location.
Booking systems lead to second-guessing & checking
Businesses define & play by all their own 'rules' which are rarely accounted for within customer-facing online booking systems. Pet owners are rarely guaranteed the time they book for without having to pick up the phone to double check with the business leaving them in 'planning limbo'.
Storing, managing & accessing pet information is fragmented
Pet information is either stored in email inboxes, is on printed pieces of paper or a combination of both. Accessing & sharing information with the right person in the right format, securely is a guessing game with no single source of truth representing the 'identity of a pet' and the interactions it has with humans throughout its lifetime.

Pet owners who request to be put on waitlists have low expectations of a positive, let alone transparent experience. Relying on call-backs and manual 'checks' by business owners and receptionist, pet owners described waitlists as 'being put on a second-chance draw but knowing your number will never actually be called'.
Finding the right service is a full-blown research mission
Pet owners are overwhelmed with a lack of standardised naming conventions of services which causes difficulty in comparing different providers, weighing up pricing and arriving at a well-informed decision. In order to get the information they need, they resort to picking up the phone and calling the businesses directly with a barrage of questions.
Caring for pets can become just another household chore
As pet owners begin to find their feet, ongoing care for their pet doesn't get any easier. There is currently no destination that makes lifelong pet care reliable, swift and accessible for pet owners. Time is chewed up seeking advice, conducting research and fitting in the time-heavy tasks of caring for their pet into their own daily list of jobs-to-be-done.
